Through my practice, I explore memory and transformation, translating lived experience into abstraction. Working with layered textures and dense surfaces, I construct paintings that hold and obscure traces, allowing meaning to emerge gradually.
Rooted in the cultural and historical landscape of Antakya, my work draws from its layered heritage, where histories, beliefs, and material traces intersect. This context informs both my conceptual approach and my engagement with surface.
Guided by an ongoing curiosity for material and process, I see painting as a space of discovery—where control and intuition continuously interact. Each work invites a perceptual encounter, opening a space between the viewer and the surface where meaning remains fluid and unresolved.
